I am a professional HR Consultant with +30 years experience in driving HR business partnering, strategic thinking and problem solving. My approach has been motivated by my belief that relationships are key to success, and everything else emanates from there. My reputation and credibility over the years have been cemented through a strong set of values, hard-work, commitment to exceptional client service and an unwavering belief in doing things right without fear or favour.
A passion for people drives me to continuously strive to build a positive working environment where business efficiencies are achieved through people who dare to dream to realize their full potential. Being South African, I have a heightened appreciation for Diversity and Inclusion, especially the empowerment and advancement of woman in the workplace.
In the last fourteen years, I have enjoyed the opportunity to contribute firstly as an Associate Director: Employee Risk and Compliance, and later as the Africa Service Line Talent and People Risk Leader, at a global financial services firm, operating across 27 countries in Africa.
This experience and passion for people has encouraged me to establish my own HR Consulting business, Altari Africa, with the aim of engaging with business to identify opportunities for improvement through maximizing people potential.
